TY McGurk 5-a-side Trophy

Each primary association holds a 5-a-side competition to find a winner to represent the association in a County competition.
Competition Rules
- The competition shall be open to one school team representing each association.
- It will be an indoor competition.
- The County Final will be held on the penultimate Wednesday of the Spring Term.
- The regional and final rounds will take the form of a league competition. 3 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. Should teams have the same number of points the highest placed team shall be decided as follows:
- Goal difference
- Most goals scored
- Won most matches
- Result(s) of matches between the teams concerned.
- Should teams share a qualifying position in the group and the playing records are identical, then a play off match may be arranged if time permits. If this is impossible, the position will be decided by penalty kicks.
- The entry fee shall be £3 per association. Entries shall be made through Association Secretaries.
- Squads will consist of 7 players, 5 of whom will form the team. DCSFA will provide 7 mementoes to each team in the final.
- A size 4 indoor ball to be used.
- Duration of play to be 5 minutes each way.
